NFMS-IF FOR ZNPP-1

From 17 to 22 September 2012 acceptance testing of NFMS-IF neutron flux monitoring system (one complete set for BCR) was carried out at unit 1 of Zaporizhzhya NPP before industrial commissioning.

The following was confirmed in the course of the NFMS-IF acceptance testing:

• design characteristics and values of monitored parameters meet the requirements of the technical conditions;
• metrological characteristics of measuring channels of NFMS-IF meet the design accuracy standards;
• operational and technical documentation meets the requirements of the nuclear and radiation safety norms and regulations;
• personnel have sufficient qualification and are ready to operate the new NFMS-IF equipment.

Based on commission’s work results it was established that the NFMS-IF equipment is ready for industrial commissioning.
