TRIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE IN-CORE NOISE DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM AT ZNPP

 In accordance with the technical decision of ZNPP, in September 2016, the trial commissioning of the SVRShD in-core noise diagnostics system took place at Unit 1.

This was preceded by the following:

• installation of SVRShD of the RF KSD reactor facility complex diagnostics system;
• autonomous adjustment of SVRShD;
• metrological certification of measuring channels of SVRShD;
• preliminary complex test of SVRShD;
• an operating manual for I&C of RF KSD was developed;
• personnel training was carried out;
• trial operation program for I&C of RF KSD was developed.

SVRShD is designated for vibration monitoring and diagnostics of the main technological equipment of the reactor facility, including the reactor with the core internals, to detect abnormal vibration states of the equipment caused by its defects, change of its fastening conditions or increase in hydrodynamic loads to the equipment from the primary coolant flow in the normal operation mode.
