STANDARD TEST OF IA-4 SMOOTH START-UP AUTOMATES

At the end of September 2016, the standard test of the IA-4 smooth start-up automates was carried out at the site of PJSC “SRPA “Impulse”.

The representatives of State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, KhNPP, RNPP and PJSC “SRPA “Impulse” took part in the testing.

The commission examined design and technological documentation, a certificate and records of the first stage of the standard test of IA-4, the results of which are positive.

Also, the commission carried out experimental checks of IA-4 for resistance to noise due to voltage and current surges, to noise due to fast transients/pulse packets, for seismic resistance.

The positive results of the carried out test of IA-4 confirmed that this equipment meets the design and technological documentation, the normative documents requirements covering products of the safety class 3 (В). Also, the members of the commission gave their recommendations.
