MPC-U COMPUTER BASED INTERLOCKING SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN COMMISSIONED AT THE NYZHNODNIPROVSK-VUZOL STATION AND THE POST 194 KM BLOCK POST OF THE PRYDNIPROVSKA RAILWAY

In December 2017, the MPC-U computer based point and signal interlocking systems were commissioned at the Nyzhnodniprovsk-Vuzol Station and the Post 194 km Block Post of the Prydniprovska Railway.

MPC-U is a computer base interlocking system carrying out all functions of monitoring and safe control of train traffic at stations and in spans.

The commission consisting of specialists of the Regional Branch “Prydniprovska Railway” checked MPC-U for meeting the requirements of the terms of reference, its operability, functional capabilities, general parameters of operational characteristics, and construction solutions.

Based on the results of the commission’s activities, a decision was made that MPC-U systems meet all requirements and have been accepted for operation.
